We offer expert voice instruction embracing formal traditional Bel Canto style singing in a warm and supportive environment.  "Bel Canto" (Italian, meaning literally "beautiful singing") is a centuries-old proven approach to singing which emphasizes beauty of sound, a mastery of breath control, vocal agility, and development of a wide yet seamless vocal range. We have taught this technique to singers of all ages and musical interests for over 15 years. We can tailor your lessons to fit your particular learning style in a comfortable and flexible manner. We offer a well-equipped studio, knowledge about musical performances and opportunities in the Washington DC area, and the benefit of over 30 years of musical study and performance.  In addition, you will reap the advantages of our combined experience:  you will have the opportunity to sing for both of us during  our Studio Classes, and you are welcome to take occasional lessons with your non-regular teacher.
