About Grand Gatherings

I began my business over 15 years ago as TWINKLE the Clown. I consider myself a misplaced nursery school teacher. When my children went off to college, I couldn't justify the pay I received teaching nursery school. I went to work full-time in a corporate job. I found I missed working with children and decided to try clowning around. I joined Clown Alleys (clubs) to learn more about the art of clowning. Clown Conventions became a regular pastime. I've competed in costume, makeup and skit competitions and have won various awards.

Besides Twinkle the Clown I do others characters, Maggie May a bag lady for those older Birthday Parties, The Butterfly lady for little girl Birthday Parties, Esmerelda the witch for Halloween Parties, Do Fuss is a Magic Clown, Lots of Smiles is a game master for corporate outings and Melanie is for very special deliveries.

I found myself so frequently booked that I began to look for other quality entertainers and have found wonderful performers along the way. The only criteria that someone who works for Grand Gatherings must have, is to love what they do, and do it from the heart.

Birthday Parties are our specialty but we are also are available for Grand Openings, Corporate Functions, Holiday Parties, and more. Other Entertainers include clowns, magicians, balloon sculptors, face painters and balloon decorators. We also offer Pony Rides, Moon Bounces and a Petting Zoo.
