Each of the subject areas below have generally good career potential (based on the Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook, as well as a general analysis of business conditions). Go through this list and use the pull down menus in each box to indicate whether your personal interest in each area is "high" (you really like it) or "low" (you really don't).

If you have a HIGH interest in one or more of these fields, congratulations! You have a WINNER: A subject that you are interested in and has relatively good career prospects. If you choose to major in one of these areas, and study hard and do well, then your post-college job search -- while perhaps not easy -- should be more productive than most of your classmates. It should also be relatively easy to obtain a part-time or summer job during college in these areas.

For those that you've marked as a LOW level of interest for yourself, consider one or more of these as an emergency BACKUP. If you have no "winners", consider minoring in one of these highly marketable areas if the thought doesn't sicken you.
