My name is Charlie Thomas. I play guitar for a living.
I live and work as a musician in the Wash DC area. I read, write, sing, and play all styles of music. I have 2 bands
that play clubs to weddings. Jeans to tux. I freelance w/ other bands and do some recording. Big band to Rock.

My new song is GOLFERS SHUFFLE. Recorded recently with my comp and
cakewalk home studio XL. 333 AMD 6, Korg M1, Yamaha DX7, Yamaha RX11 drum machine, Peavey MK3 12 chan. mixer, Yamaha
SPX90, Roland GP8, Mesa Boogie Mark 3 amp, 64 Strat, Gibsons ES-345, SG
std, 71 Martin D-28 and a Samick Bass.
The Pain gave me my 1st royalty check.(a pittance).
It was also covered by other bands.(Assassins) The Pain, Feel It, Vacations, and 5/4 (Somedays), were all done in the
studio, with band buds.
I want To and Lonely Boy was my 1st foray into digital recording.
1st ever mpu401 for a computer. 1st cakewalk software. I played all instruments.
Don't Let It Get To Me and Save This Moment were recorded live
at the Bayou in Georgetown DC by Street Life.

My influences are Beatles, Steely Dan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, Danny Gatton
and blues guitar God SRV. I play a 64 strat through a Mark 3 Mesa Boogie. I have a rock trio(Gtr.,Bass,Drums) called Skoolzout
to play in the DC area.
