G.I.JOE

Sienna Miller, Ray Park, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Said Taghmaoui, Marlon Wayans, Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The movie will be a modern telling of the "G.I. Joe vs. Cobra" storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro created 25 years ago. The premise of this fantasy is the story of the G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their "fight for freedom wherever there is trouble" against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force. This storyline was an instant hit with kids in the early 1980s, spawning a highly popular 3-3/4-inch action figure line, comic book collection and animated series. The G.I. Joe team will not be based in Brussels. Instead, they will be based out of the "Pit" as they were throughout the 1980s comic book series. And, in keeping with the G.I. Joe vs. Cobra fantasy, the movie will feature characters and locations from around the world. Duke, the lead character and head of the G.I. Joe team, will embody the values of bravery and heroism that the first generation of G.I. Joe figures established.

Based on the 1980's version of G.I.JOE.

To the comics, toons and toys, the joes are coming to life on the bigscreen to fight for freedom where ever theres trouble.

Heres an episode of G.I.JOE from 1989 called "The spy who rooked me".

this episode was never included in the dvds which was cancelled  after the Rhino company that produced the dvds lost there license before releasing season 2 vol.2 of the joe toons. I found this episode buried in my old video collection and wanted to share it with you all, included in this episode are the original 1989 commercials as a bonus to bring you back in the day when tv was cool and toons were fun to watch, enjoy.

Calling all G.I.JOE actors!!!

The G.I.JOE movie is in the works and every week a new actor is being revealed to play the part of the characters we all loved to watch on the cartoons and comics back in the 1980's.

some of the actors chosen so far are good picks and others are just dumb, like marlon waynes playing the part of Ripcord, hey wasn't that joe member white?

here are my picks of the actors that should play the part of the G.I.JOE and Cobra forces.

First of all who should play Duke?

There was a report on comingsoon.net that Mark (aka Marky Mark and the funky bunch) wallberg will play Duke, are you kidding me!

He doesn't even look like Duke and he looks to young to play the part.

here is my pick...Neal McDonough.
Blond hair and blue eyes, its freaking uncanny, Neal looks like Duke.

Who should play Snake-eyes?

Well its confirmed by coming soon.net that Ray Park, the actor who played the sith in the Star Wars Episode 1 movie will play the part.

great choice on that one, as a matter of fact its a no-brainer knowing he is a real life martial artist and can hold his own in playing Snake-Eyes, to bad he most likely have to wear a mask throughout the whole movie due to his character being disfigured in a mission saving Scarlett as seen in one of the comics from Marvel.

Who should play Scarlett?

Theres alot of beautiful actresses that can play that part but I think its already been confirmed that Rachel Nichols has landed the part, good choice.

Who should Play Cobra Commander?

Well he wears a mask and his idenity is a secret but what the hell,

Hears my picks cause they are a few first off is Willem Dafoe, he is such a great actor, second is Mark Hamill.

why?...hey why not and he plays a good joker voice in the batman toons too.

Who should play the Baroness?

An actress was already confirmed by the name of Sienna Miller but I would have choosing Jennifer Connelly, oh well lets see what happens with that.

Who should play Zartan?

This is a tough one, ok hear goes...sean bean.

Take a look.

This just a few of actors that should play the characters of the G.I.JOE live action movie as many already know they are numerous joe and cobra members and not all will be in the movie it would just be way to expensive but lets hope hollywood won't make anymore goof ups like casting marlon waynes as Ripcord again, more will follow soon.
