In the next months ahead a brand new way of
seeing movies will be all around us.
Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are the new formats in
DVD technology with a maximum resolution of 1080i and better Hi-Def sound.
Of coarse to enjoy this new cleaner video
and audio format you need a HD-TV if not you will only get the resolution of what your home TV can max out which is about
500 lines to 720i.
The new Blu-Ray and HD-DVD players will
not be cheap some will cost around $500 dollars and over, but Sony is releasing the new Playstation 3 around the Spring or
Fall Seasons that will be able to playback Blu-Ray DVDs with no problem, I think I'm gonna wait for the PS3 and play the new
generation games, play back the old ones and watch a Blu-Ray movie on that all in one ultimate machine.
Also the new Blu-Ray and HD-DVD recorders are also on
the way to record your favorite shows in HD!
Both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will have plenty of room
for all your movies, data or whatever you want to record on disc with some disc having as much as 50 to 100 gigabytes of space
on just one side of a disc!
Computers will not be deprived of the new technology
as new Blu-Ray and HD-DVD players and burners are on the
way!
