On Sunday, May 31 we started with an abbreviated
Worship Service. Then 12 cars, filled with 40 people, departed the parking lot in 30 second intervals in a quest to take their
pictures in front of specific landmarks and to find answers to specific trivia questions. The youngest participant was 10
months old and the oldest participant was slightly older than that.
The places we visited
were Putt-Putt, Mt.
Olivet Catholic Cemetery, the Holiday Inn and Marina on Grand Island, Kelly’s Country Store, Goat Island, and Our Lady
of Fatima Shrine where we took our pictures with one of Noah’s animals, a guardian angel, a boat (bonus points for a
boat with a fisherman), 3 Sisters Island, St. Christopher, and the Church Road sign. As if all this wasn’t enough, our
final destination was Jeff Platt’s house where food and drink was waiting for us. A picture is worth a thousand words,
so check out the pictures on the website.
