Goal posts
Six in all, these fifty foot-high structures are the main way of scoring in Quidditch. Each time a
Quaffle is thrown through one of the hoops, ten pioints is earned. There are three on each end of the field, guarded by the
team Keeper.
Clubs
The Beaters use these large, heavy clubs to knock the Bludgers toward enemy players.
Quaffle
A red, football sized ball that is used in Quidditch. 1 is used throughout the game.
Bludger
A black ball that is extremely bouncy. Beaters use clubs to knock Bludgers toward the opposing team.
Golden Snitch
The Golden snitch is the most important ball in Quidditch. It is walnut sized, gold in color and
has a pair of tiny wings

Three Chasers
The Chasers throw the quaffle to each other and try to put it in the goal post. 10 points are scored
each time the ball is thrown through the goal post.
One Keeper
The Keeper flies around the goal post and tries to prevent the opponent from scoring.
Two Beaters
The Beaters are equipped with clubs which they use to hit the bludger at opponents.
One Seeker
The Seeker is usually the smallest, nimblest player on the team. They ride around between all the
chaos looking for the snitch. In addition to the game ending when it is caught, the team that caught it earns an additional
150 points.
