voyager.jpg

This is the "Minimoog Voyager" synth. Introduced in 2001, this is the modern version of the classic Model D. Features user memory locations or a live front panel, just like the original classic.

Just like the original, a left hand control section with two wheels, one for pitch bend, one for modulation depth. And a switch for glide and final decay.

Unique to the Voyager is it's 3 dimentional touch pad. Depending on the patch this can vary the filter or the pitch of a syncronized oscillator for some very expressive sounds.

motm2a.jpg

This is a MOTM analog modular synthesizer. MOTM= " Modernized Old-school Technology Modular". For this particular concert, no keyboard is connected as it's main function is for two part sequences. It sounds massive! I just can't get that sound from my newer digital VA gear. It just has a " Presence" that is difficult to describe.
