My Autobiography gives a unique perspective
into the life of a young boy being raised poor and the hardships endured by him during the Great Depression and World War
II. It explores the love of his parents, and their dedication to my brothers and me.
I present our family pictures, pictures of early
American history, and pictures of the way things were.
I present my employment
opportunities and my contributions to the Semi Conductor Industry and to Kulicke and Soffa Industries. I acknowledge the founders
of Kulicke and Soffa for their willingness to develop us Engineers by their excellent leadership and knowledge.
I answer questions on how we kids utilized
our free time, and what it was like to live in the 1930’s. I describe the many conveniences we enjoyed, or the
lack there of.
You and other persons interested in early American
living may find it interesting to read how difficult the living conditions were for families in Pottstown, PA. In our/their
early life, in the 1930’s and 1940’s, our faith in God was all we had to survive.
I answer the question, Could we poor people
possibly advance into being socially accepted, and could we become part of the upper class as I did?
I explain the hard work required by our parents
and our own personal desires to advance, so that I/we might achieve and succeed.
“I am satisfied”
