JHG Design
My pastime is the design and engineering of special mechanical systems. Included
in my hobby is the remodeling of houses to accommodate space improvements, bath, and kitchen and add on screened in porches?
Pictures of my designs and remodeling projects are displayed hereafter.
Along with mechanical designing, I also enjoy compiling Genealogies. Some Genealogies
I have compiled are for the Grahams, Speece, Lichtley, Eisenhauer, Kerlin, Ruyak and others that are adjacent or imbedded.
The following are samples of design projects I have completed since my retirement
in 1998.
The last pictures are of an invention of a Safety Alert that was conceived
by Fred Kerlin and Jim Graham in 1979. The design was presented for patent however Fred and I did not have the finances required
to continue. As we look back we regret not following up on the patent. After investing our time and money on a Development
and Marketing Analysis and a prototype that I personaly manufactured we did not follow-up. The analysis was positive,
the prototype was excellent, and we were encouraged to proceed, would’ve, could’ve, should’ve is all
we have.

Bug
Removal Tool V2-12/06/2006
This tool
is available for manufacture with permission. All parts are in ACAD 14 and are available for immediate release. Please contact
JHG Design if interested in the Bug Removal Design.
The Bug removal
tool is a hand held device used to remove insects from the interior of a home, garage, or commercial buildings but not limited
to hard surfaces. Curtains are excellent surfaces to remove Bugs. The device is a hand held device that the user places over
or near a bug and depresses the activation lever. The bug is extracted from the surface by vacuum and retained in the capture
chamber. No damage to walls, floors, and soft surfaces is exhibited.
While holding
the handle; 1) place one finger in the green end cap, 2) pull the vacuum piston to the ready position, 3) place the Bug pick
up tool end over or near a Bug, 4) depress the trigger release. The piston creates a vacuum that removes the Bug from the
surface immediately. The bugs are retained in the Bug chamber. Multiple (dozens) of bugs may be removed prior to cleaning
the chamber.

2003 Jeep Wrangler Power Door Locks, installation instructions.
See Download Page for data retrieval.
Please
visit Eric Longacre’s memorial page, on this site, and consider a contribution. All proceeds are directed to ASIA, should you be satisfied
with the design and functionality of this assembly.
Use caution with the placement. Use the template or you risk damaging the window track, (see
drawing) or drilling into it. I also assumed GM manufactures all of their Jeep's close enough so you will not have any problems.
I assume no responsibilities whatever. All data is empirical. Dimensions are in
inches
