Rana Farhan specializes in restoring gilded furniture and objects, painted finishes, chinoiserie, lacquer, icons and eglomise glass in addition to architectural gilding and custom reproductions




























As protogee to the master Persian restorer, Ostad Ahmari, Rana Farhan acquired precious and disappearing knowledge. For over two decades she has further developed the crafts of rare furniture restoration and reproduction, architectural gilding and painted finishes. Farhan's unique skills enable her to work in many different styles and across several historic periods.

A master gilder and painter whose portfolio ranges from traditional Persian miniatures to contemporary abstract compositions, Farhan has presented her work at the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Sotheby's.
