Parent Observation Guidelines

Dear Club Members

We have received several complaints from the high school staff and the Athletic Director regarding the disruptive behavior of both parents and children observing the swim practices each evening at the Peters Township High School. While we promote an open and supportive environment for our swimmers, if the disruptions continue, this unsafe situation will cause us to lose our permit to use the high school pool for practices. This serious problem has prompted the board to draft these guidelines for parent conduct during swim practices. If the guidelines are not followed, the board has the authority to pursue disciplinary action as outlined in the guidelines. In addition, if members remain non-compliant, open observation during practices will be limited. Please join the coaches and the board in creating a safe and supportive learning environment for our swimmers.
