THE SEVEN “I WILL’S”
Exodus 6:6-8
The seven great “I will’s”
from God as He is getting ready to have the Israelites leave Egypt after 430 years. They have been
in bondage with heavy burdens.
- I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
- I will rid you out of their bondage.
- I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments.
- I will take you to me for a people.
- I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God
- I will bring you in unto the land.
- I will give it you for an heritage.
I. I WILL BRING YOU OUT FROM UNDER THE BURDENS OF THE EGYPTIANS.
A.
In chapter one we meet up will this evil taskmaster – the Pharaoh.
B.
Burdens – something carried, emotionally difficult, worry, stress, load, grievous.
C.
God wants to –
Lighten the burden
Lessen the bitterness
Liberate from bondage.
D.
“Burdens are lifted at Calvary”

ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein.

II. I WILL RID YOU OUT OF THEIR BONDAGE.
A.
The devil always brings hard bondage to a life of someone who is lost or a Christian that is disobeying
God.
1.
Sin will always keep you longer than you wanted to stay.
2.
Cost you more than you wanted to pay.
3.
Take you further than you wanted to go.
4.
Effect you and others more than you thought.
B.
The Lord wants to set you free from sin.

III.
I WILL REDEEM YOU WITH A STRETCHED OUT ARM.
A.
Jesus Christ stretched out His arms to die and give us redemption.

IV.
I WILL TAKE YOU TO ME FOR A PEOPLE.
A.
We as Christians belong to God. He is our Father. We are part of His family.

he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father
hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
V. I WILL BE TO YOU A GOD AND YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD.
A.
How comforting to know the creator of the universe.
B.
What a blessing to know God personally.
C.
What a privilege it is to rely on the one that can’t fail or fall.
D.
How wonderful it is to be on the winning team.
VI.
I WILL BRING YOU INTO THE LAND.
A.
Someday we are going to heaven.
B.
Someday the Lord is coming back for us.
