Ray displaying two heat sticks that are used to heat wort and water.  The brewery is run by 3 seperate 20 amp circuits which provide more than enough juice for those big brews. A sink was added and drains by a sump pump into the existing sewer line. It also has a filter to provide chlorine free brewing water.  The range hood exhaust all steam to the outside.

PID

A PID unit controls the temperature in the mash tun by reading the wort which is pumped through a heating chamber and read by a "RTD" inside the mash tun.  Mash temperatures are jumped and held exactly. The two heat sticks used are 4500 watts each and can get 10 gallons of cold tap water to boil in about 30 minutes. The heat stick are plugged in and each controlled by an independant switch.  Fliping a switch instead of lighting propane.
