Question: What is probably the single best thing that a band member can do (in addition to practicing) to reach his or her potential?

Answer: TAKE PRIVATE LESSONS! -- Please contact Mr. Miller for details and phone numbers of local private teachers.

Also, remember to search the web for great sites related to music, bands, your instrument, music theory and history, composers, instrument maintenance, etc.

Information about private teachers and music-related websites can be found on the County Music Dept. Website:

You are encouraged to contact Mr. Miller before purchasing instruments; you might want to ignore what he says, but at least you will have heard it!
