Report of President, Adam D. Miller:

Adam and Pat Miller discussed their experience at NCRA's Legislative Boot Camp, where they learned how to lobby for reporters' issues, including the Training for Realtime Writers' Act, Senate Bill 675. This Bill would provide $100 million toward training captioners, CART reporters and other realtime writers.  All members were encouraged to call our Senator to show our support.

Adam and Pat attended the NCRA leadership seminar, in November.

Since Adam has been elected to be a board member, Patty Ganci will take over the presidency of DCRA until our next election.

Adam advised that Delaware has the highest percentage of NCRF "angel" supporters of any state association.

Adam asked for volunteer's for University of Delaware Career Awareness Program.  Kurt Fetzer may be interested.
