As of January 31, 2002, by order of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware, all persons "engage[d] in the practice of court reporting within the State of Delaware in connection with any proceeding pending in the State Courts of Delaware or in which appeal to any State Court of Delaware may lie" (such as Labor Board or Industrial Accident Board proceedings) must be certified by the Board on Certified Court Reporters.
This certification does not apply to Federal Court matters, and captioning and CART services are entirely outside its purview.
