In October 2002, we went to Meiji Mura, an architectural museum, near Nagoya. The museum collects old buildings built between 1856-1945, that would otherwise be torn down. One of the buildings that Meiji Mura saved was the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo built by FLW. We had tea in the lobby, which is remarkable since FLW buildings in the US are museums.
