Founded in 2008, FISH Masters, which stands for "Federated Independed Swimmers of the Hudson" is a member of United States Masters Swimming, the governing body for masters swimming in the United States. Swimmers age 19 and older are welcome to join and participate at any USMS sanctioned event under the FISH Masters name. Masters range in ability from those just learning to swim to former collegiate level.

There is a full schedule of local, regional and national swimming events for swimmers interested in competing.

The FISH club is made up of several workout groups, including the Dutchess Bluefish, who workout in Poughkeepsie.
