Exhibition Game vs. Japan All-Stars
January 6, 2009 at the NJ Nets Training facility in East Rutherford.
For the past 2 years Japan has sent over a squad of All-Stars that travels thoughout the U.S. and visits NBA cities to
play exhibition games. Two years ago they were easily beaten. Last year they extracted revenge and were extremely
well conditioned and prepared. We have been fortunate enough to have been choosen to paly them again this year.
The game will be played in hte NJ Nets Training Facility located in East Rutherford on January 6, 2009. The game will
start at 6:30pm.
this year the squad is comprised of 10 players, 5 from Chapel Hill coached by Kelvin F.and 5 are out of our Y.

Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Skills Challenge Sponsored by SINGULAIR
The YM-YWHA of North Jersey will host a local competition for boys and
girls ages 7 to 14. The Jr.NBA/Jr.WNBA Skills Challenge is free of charge to all participants; please call the Physical Education
office at 973-595-0100 x 279 or visit our web site at www.ymha-nj.org for competition details. All competitors must check
in approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the competition. All participants must provide a copy of their birth certificate,
and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Boys and girls compete separately in four age groups. No street shoes will be
permitted. Only gym shoes (soft soles, non-scuffing) will be allowed for participants.
