Away vs. Tenafly

 

Befoe the game I gave them a different kind of game plan.  If you move you create opportunities if you just stand and pass without moving you don't get anywhere.  We used David M's high energy and it showed.  David had a team high 17 points.  Other shots were taken but it seemed we couldn't hit from the outside int he first half.  At the end of the half it was too close 17-11.  Defensively we were fine but offensively we couldn't sink a shot or get any rebounds.  The second half we started to make some outside shots and Mike S was able to get some rebounds and put backs (12 points).  Matt K moved the ball up court terrifically against the press, had some beautiful passes ,Matt R found himself wide open on some fast breaks and Andrew L had some nice passes with good court vision.  But most impressive thing I saw yesterday was Nick M put back a tip in from 6 feet away.  Why is this so impressive, becasue at the beginning of the season most of our guys couldn't tip in anything.  Bottom line they all got better ( in some way) since day one.
