June marks the end of our calendar year in Up-L.I.F.T. We will be utilizing the summer to have playdates and field
trips together! We look forward to a new location in the Fall and hope to build our group so that our families can build
more friendships! We have enjoyed this year and are so excited about all of the new members that have joined us the
second half of the school year! We are now grouping our children in an 8+ group, a 5 - 7 year old group, and a pre-K
group(not to mention our infants and toddlers!). We hope to build each group to a total of 8 children(and man, are we
close!). We love the intimacy that our group has to offer and look forward to a summer break so that we can come back
strong in September.
We hope to continue to utilize our unit study approach and have found the children learning a great deal more from pursuing
the same topic for four week intervals! Thanks to all the great moms who put so much energy into their lessons!(Our
caterpillars are making themselves comfy in their new habitats that the children made!)
One talented member will continue to provide Harford County with a homeschool choir(beautiful music to God's ears!)!
And, if we find enough interest, we may be able to start a homeschool P.E day each week!
