Music and Bible Time

Each day, the children have music time.   Each Monday and Friday, the children gather with Janet John, for Bible Stories - a time of instilling Christian Values and helpful skills!   "Start a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it." -- Proverbs 22:6ould

Interaction

The focus of daily activities at Aston Presbyterian Day Care Learning Center is the development of the whole child within a secure, loving environment. Group activities are balanced with quiet periods and includes time for music, art activities, stories, interactive toys, puzzles, dramatization, resting and having time to oneself. The older children have varied special activities such as a computer center, cooking experiences, and projects involving outside resource people.

Foundation Day Care Administrator Sally Bechtold

Our Day Care Learning Center was founded in 1979 by three members of the Aston Presbyterian Church, Janet John, Jean Nickey, and Laura Worrell. They found, after much research, that a real need existed for an all day learning and day care center. The center exists under the auspices of Aston Presbyterian Church and is licensed by the Department of Public Welfare. With God's love and help, we continue to grow and share this center with the commmunity around us.   Our  Day Care Administrator  is Sally Bechtold. Sally has been associated with the Day Care for over 25yrs. Her years of service and expertise are a great asset to our program.   "Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord, All Ye Lands!"  -Psalm 100
