PG FANTASY GOLF 2009
We are looking for people interested in playing in our Fantasy
Golf League. It does not require a weekly maintenance, but rather a one-time selection of 12 golfers at the beginning of the
year with the option of changing one player effective at a time to be determined in the next week at a cost of $15 (more on
that later). You can make your selections at the beginning of the year and then forget about it until mid year or the end
of the year, if you so desire. Winners are determined by the amount of money that your golfers earned on the PGA Tour and
WGC events(excluding Fed Ex Bonus money). OUR SEASON WILL END WITH THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP AND WILL NOT INCLUDE FALL FINISH
TOURNAMENTS!!
1. Pick
12 (not 11, not 13) golfers. Each golfer is assigned a monetary amount (see 2009 Player Values).
2.
Your 12 golfers must not exceed a salary cap
of $7500.
3.
At the mid-season point, you may change one
golfer (for a fee), but you must still stay under the $7500 Salary Cap.
4.
If your golfer suffers an injury, takes up
baseball, develops an allergy to grass or worse, you are stuck with him unless you make a change at the mid-season point (THANK
YOU MR. WOODS).
5.
Each week we will post weekly results and year
to date standings on our website, www.pgfantasygolf.com, so that you can follow activity as closely as you like.
6.
The final payout is determined by the final
pool of money coming from the original buy-in as well as the additional money generated from any player changes at the
mid-season point. This will be posted on our website before the first tournament. All money put into the pool is paid out;
there are no handling or maintenance fees (we do it for the love of the game and the sheer boredom of the winter months).
7.
Rosters, $100 per team entry fee and team names are
due on January 7, 2009 (you can have as many teams as you would like). Player
changes at mid-season for $15. For payment information email pgfantasygolf@verizon.net. In 2008 we had 101 participants, generating a payout pool of over $10760, with $1,550
going out to the eventual winner. We have had a lot of fun doing this and we hope that the participants enjoyed it as well.
We hope to have more people involved next year– Go out and recruit for us.
9. If you know anyone who may be interested, we would be happy to take his or her money.
10. Watch for the Majors' Challenge
in March. $15 will go toward entry in the Majors' Challenge. More on that later.

you have any questions, please contact Chol at pgfantasygolf@verizon.net .
