Atfer listening to U.S. congresspeople and Hollywood stars like
George Clooney talk about GENOCIDE and making all sorts of allegations
against the government of SUDAN without any mention of the (so-called) REBELS ( when is a rebel
a TERRORIST ?) who started this conflict well before February 2003,
MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD began giving much time on his show and on the web to providing information on the real causes of the problems in DAR~FUR, which included a report LIVE via telephone in OCTOBER
2003 from BROTHER AKBAR MUHAMMAD after his then recent trip to talk with all sides in the DAR~FUR conflict.
Unlike many who go to visit SUDAN, and who do so by going in a 'back door' directly to DAR~FUR and bypassing KHARTOUM and the SUDANESE
government altogether, BROTHER AKBAR visits any AFRIKAN nation by going through its capital and meeting with
government officials first and then going wherever else the country he needs to go to do any 'fact-finding'.
Although MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD has never been to AFRIKA, he has been a lifelong student and teacher of
the history of AFRIKA and ALL AFRIKAN people, especially of SUDAN as well as many other AFRIKAN nations suffering from
similiar conflicts, such as UGANDA with the (so-called) LORDS RESISTANCE ARMY and DEMOCRATIC
REPUBLIC OF CONGO with several "rebel" groups 'terrorizing'
much of the east of that nation.
As U.S. President G.W. Bush began,
in violation of all International Law, attacks on Afghanistan, Iraq and invasions of DJIBOUTI, THE PHILLIPINES and other nations around the world to fight ISLAMIC groups perceived
as allied to AL-QA'IDA under his 'WAR ON TERROR;'
he (and now so many others) claimed that ANY GROUP THAT TOOK UP ARMS AGAINST A GOVERNMNENT,
killing innocent people and destroying crucial infrastructure .... WAS a TERRORIST
group. So why then are such groups all over AFRIKA,
not also 'TERRORISTS" ?
Why wasn't L.U.R.D.
and M.O.D.E.L. in LIBERIA who were raining down bombs on playgrounds in LIBERIA's capital MONROVIA in mid 2003 not
TERRORISTS.
These armed groups, who had no political agenda other than hatred of President CHARLES TAYLOR were then allowed to become part of a so-called 'iterim' government,
until elections brought current president ELLEN JOHNSON-SIRLEAF into the presidency
of LIBERIA.
Or why weren't the armed CRIMINAL THUGS who killed policemen,
destroyed police stations and murdered anyone who supported the legitimate government of HAITI under JEAN BERTRAND ARISTIDE not also TERRORISTS
?
And why did the UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT, instead of aiding those legitimate
BLACK governments against these armed groups, continue crippling sanctions against
those BLACK governments, so that the CRIMINALS
and TERRORISTS were more powerful than these BLACK
governments, who could not resist their brutal attacks and defend their people and crucial infrastructure
?
Even kidnapping poor President ARISTIDE
from out of HAITI into Central Afrika without his knowledge of where he was being
taken or his consent to be removed from HAITI ? Then they allowed the CRIMINALS and TERRORISTS
to become the government.
BLACK PEOPLE in America, but also WORLDWIDE
would do well to ask themselves these important questions so they do not become dupes of failed and historically RACIST U.S. policies.
WHY
DID THE U.S. GOVERNMENT not aid the government of SUDAN in maintaining LAW AND ORDER when SLA, JEM and others began
new attacks killing 685 police and destroying 80 police stations and even crucial infrastructure and development
projects right in DAR~FUR; projects these so-called rebels claim did not exist in DAR~FUR, that being the reason for their taking up arms and waging 'terror'; government projects such as water-pumping
stations, healthcare facilities, schools and three (3) new airports ?
MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD taught that these were proofs that the racist double standards historically evident in all of
U.S. foreign policy and most of its domestic policy when it came to AFRIKA PEOPLE
right here in Ameri-KKK-a was still the same. NOTHING
HAS CHANGED.
For about one hour, MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD and BROTHER AKBAR talked about all these issues which the American public, and particularly, people of AFRIKAN
ascent in Ameri-KKK-a have
not been getting information about from conventional media sources or Hollywood stars now so concerned about the welfare of
BLACK PEOPLE.
MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD even tried to point out how all this in DAR~FUR began with the split within the ruling party of SUDAN between PRESIDENT OMAR AL BASHIR and his teacher, ISLAMIST-hardliner
DR. HASSAN ATTURABI back in 1999. ATTURABI
and the ISLAMIST hardliners broke with BASHIR
when he conceded under U.S. pressure and negotiated with the S.P.L.A. and John Garang, eventually ceeding rule of the south to the S.P.L.A.
terrorists who waged a 21 year long campaign of terror that impacted several neighboring countries. Mr. ATTURABI
was reported to have also been having separate and secret talks with the S.P.L.A. (so-called 'rebels') terrorists
.
President BASHIR also kicked OSAMA BIN LADIN and al-QA'IDA out of SUDAN though neither he nor ATTURABI had anything against OSAMA
BIN LADIN at that time (pre 9-11). ATTURABI was in fact
FURIOUS at what may have been seen as BETRAYALS
in these actions by the SUDAN GOVERNMENT. He began working with his allies, built
up by being Speaker of Sudan's Parliament, and others among the ZAGHAWA
tribe (who dominate the J.E.M. rebel group) and next thing you
know ..... there's bloodshed and fratricide all over Western Sudan. It should be noted also that although this region is called
"DAR~FUR" or HOME OF 'THE FUR' tribe,
there are several other tribes who have historically lived in western SUDAN including the ZAGHAWA.ATTURABI was
even arrested on treason charges and imprisoned as all this was beginning.
BROTHER AKBAR had last been in BOSTON in the early SUMMER of 2005, for a fund-raiser to try and keep a then four year
old promise he made to bring MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD on one of his tours to AFRIKA. That fund raiser was held at BOSTON's historic FREEDOM HOUSE and was sparsely
attended. It raised nowhere near what was needed for the trip so by complete surprise, BROTHER AKBAR began his talk that morning on DRUMBEAT by calling upon MUHAMMAD MOSQUE # 11 and ALL OF BLACK BOSTON to work to set up a fund to take MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD on his next trip to GHANA and to EGYPT in JULY 2007, an educational tour that includes world renown our~storian BROTHER RUNOKO RASHIDI, another long-time member of the growing SOA and SONS OF AFRIKA on line communities, founded in 1999 by MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD. One of the several BOSTON FOI brothers who were on duty with his security, then passed BROTHER AKBAR a note while he was speaking on air saying that he would like to contribute the first
$100.00 to the fund. BROTHER AKBAR read the note out loud and then committed to put in the second $100.00.
That BOSTON FOI Brother's name was BROTHER MICHAEL MUHAMMAD a
Brother~soldier MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD had seen many times over the years securing Muhammad Mosque and their events
all over the community. SOA thanks that Brother-soldier deeply as well as BROTHER AKBAR MUHAMMAD. Over the following week, SOA began getting phone calls and e mails of support from people like TONY MELODY, Boston's Jamaican recording artist, Brother Junious Ricardo Stanton of the DIGITAL DRUM show on HARAMBEE RADIO NETWORK and even BROTHER PHILLIP TUCKER General Manager of Boston's NEW,
BLACK-OWNED Hotel The HAMPTON INN AND SUITES at CROSSTOWN CENTER, who once again DONATED a Certificate for ONE NIGHTS
STAY at this beautiful, new luxury hotel in BLACK BOSTON which will be auctioned off on this site and on DRUMBEAT RADIO~NET CAST soon. These and many others all promising to support sending THE MINISTER~GENERAL to mother AFRIKA in JULY 2007,
NOT FOR ANY VACATION OR LEISURE but in the interests of real PAN~AFRICANISM.
Building bridges and networking across the Diaspora. Things he has already been

After watching the devastation that was HURRICANE KATRINA and the levee failure
that DROWNED the mostly BLACK city
of NEW ORLEANS in August-September 2005, and after having talked with representatives of PEOPLE'S HURRICANE UNITED, a coalition of about 40 grassroots community organizations across NEW ORLEANS during HURRICANE RITA on SEPTEMBER
25th, 2005; early in 2006 like most BOSTONIANS, MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD began seeing the new EVACUATION ROUTE SIGNS put up all over BOSTON by its Mayor Thomas Menino. Government at all levels all over the United States began looking at their EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS because of the horrors of what happened in NEW ORLEANS in 2005 and BOSTON was no exception. On February 26th, 2006, MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD invited a representative of what was then called the Mayor's OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY,
Glen Brenner on to his show DRUMBEAT RADIO~NET CAST to find out what this new plan was about, how would it work and where do all the BLUE AND WHITE ARROW EVACUATION ROUTE SIGNS lead. That office is
now called the Mayor's Office of Emergency Preparedness. Later on APRIL 23rd, 2006, MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD invited the BOSTON PUBLIC HEALTH COMMISSION, a major player in Boston's Emergency Preparedness onto the show as well and was joined by TOM LYONS of BPHC. It was during that show we found out that BPHC had awarded grants to some 20 GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY AGENCIES around BOSTON to hold meetings and other activities designed to inform and educate the people of BOSTON about the city's new plan as well as to give out to 10,000 INCOME-ELIGIBLE
RESIDENTS of the city, American Red Cross donated EMERGENCY STARTER KITS.
MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD then talked with up to 12 of those agencies and three of them were proud to join him on his show. On MAY
7th, 2006 SISTER SANDRA WILLIAMS of PROJECT RIGHT of ROXBURY and MANYA CHYLINSKI of NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION of THE BACK BAY joined live in studio followed on JULY 16th, 2006 by KYLE ROBIDOUX of UNITED SOUTH END SETTLEMENTS / HARRIETT TUBMAN HOUSE in BOSTON'S SOUTH END. These agencies (most of them) did all they could to try and reach the people of BOSTON, but they reached very few and still, the vast majority of the people of BOSTON know little about the city's new plan. Many just aren't paying attention to the matter at all. Perhaps the images of
NEW ORLEANS during KATRINA are too distant now to be any movitivation to others around the USA
just as in fact, the people of NEW ORLEANS themselves ignored a decade or more of warnings about the inadequacies of the levee system - that it could never withstand
a CAT 4 or 5 hurricane.

Around the beginning of 2006 as BOSTON began putting up the EVACUATION ROUTE signs, BOSTON UNIVERSITY was nearing completion of approvals to build a LEVEL 4 BIOCONTAINMENT FACILITY in the middle of the BLACK BOSTON community. Back in AUGUST 2004, MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD held on his show a NATIONAL TOWN MEETING on President Bush' PROJECT BIO~SHIELD, which appropriated BILLION$ to ready our nation for A C.hemical,
B.iological R.adiological or N.uclear attack
(CBRN) and this new lab, that would be working on studying weaponization of deadly pathogens like
anthrax, ebola, Bubonic Plague and perhaps worse is
now being built in the middle of BOSTON'S BLACK community. Research on how to defend against these new threats is
being funded from that July 2004 legislation.
Many considered this to be the greatest looming threat that the people of BOSTON now, and for the foreseeable future, face and MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD felt that we could not be talking about PREPAREDNESS .... without talking about BIO~HAZARDS. On
JULY 2nd, 2006, world renown scientist DR. JEANNE GUILLEMIN of MIT SECURITY STUDIES joined him live on DRUMBEAT RADIO~NET Cast as a follow-up to her testimony at a PREPAREDNESS HEARING held by the Public Safety Committee of the BOSTON CITY COUNCIL in response to concerns raised by people around BOSTON about all of this. DR. GUILLEMIN and her husband, also a world renown scientist, DR. MATTHEW MESELSON
of Harvard's Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, (where MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD worked during the 1980s) were invited back in the early 1990's by then President Boris Yeltsin to visit RUSSIA
and the city of EKATERINBURG to study what happened back in 1979
when that city was called SVERDLOSK and was part of the then SOVIET
UNION. In that year, there was a release of aerosolized,
weaponized ANTHRAX from an exhaust
vent in a SUPER-SECRET SOVIET military lab,
much like the one now being built on ALBANY STREET in the middle of BLACK BOSTON. Only now is the world really finding out what happened and what could have happened back then with this release from such
a dangerous facility that only foolish people would build in the middle of a large city. ALL OF THIS CULMINATED WITH
MINISTER~GENERAL AHMAD'S FINAL SHOW ON BOSTON'S PREPAREDNESS, ESCAPE FROM BOSTON, which aired on BOSTON NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK TV on OCTOBER 12th, 2006.

Brother OMEKONGO LUHAKA WA DIBINGA is a first generation American
whose family came to America from the Democratic Republic of Congo ( once known as Zaire ). Born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he now lives in Rockville Maryland, but visits BLACK BOSTON often and performs his SPOKEN-WORD all across the country.
He speaks fluent French and Swahili, as he told MINISTER GENERAL AHMAD
on DRUMBEAT RADIO-NET CAST, SUNDAY JULY 11th, 2004, that his mother insisted that
all her children knew their mother tongue as well as English
" PROSELYTIZING PENIS" which deals with the SEX ABUSE SCANDAL of the Catholic
church, spoken to the melodic vocals of a catholic choir singing hymns, and "WELCOME TO THE CONGO", which he wrote after his visit to the homeland of his parents, where he saw the devastation of decades of post-colonial
mis-rule from the days of MOBUTU SESE SEKO to the carnage of today in Eastern DRC in Bunia and the
Ituri region. Even how COLUMBITE-TANTALITE, which revolutionized and made possible advances in cell phone and internet technology, from which none
of AFRIKA has benefited, had been robbed from the suffering people of D R CONGO, as unscrupulous corporate mercenaries took advantage of the fratricide that plagues all of central AFRIKA.
Most of AFRIKA's fratricide was instigated by outside forces, pitting Brother against Brother
in a time when the continent faces a genocide worse than ever in human history.
The MINISTER GENERAL was reporting on this new mineral for 2-3 years only to find
that many in BLACK BOSTON, in America and even some Black leaders who traveled extensively to mother AFRIKA
knew little or nothing about this mineral, whose price jumped in just a few months during 2002
from .08 an ounce to $80.00 an ounce. B ut as it was being STOLEN from illegal mines in central AFRIKA ( like the blue diamonds in the movie CONGO
) ( DR Congo, Rwanda etc ) the price soon fell back down for this important
new mineral, FOUND ONLY IN THIS REGION OF OUR MOTHERLAND and very few other places in the world. COL-TAN
is also found in Australia where most of the worlds COL-TAN is prepared for use in computers, cell phones, in aircraft and in capacitors. In central Afrika it was
( and probably still is ) being pilfered by enemies of AFRIKAN people; by
USA and EU corporations that cared little for the welfare and the rights of AFRIKA or AFRIKANS.
THE MINISTER GENERAL began doing in depth reports on issues
impacting our people from Boston to Bouake
and from Houston to Harare.
News that people of AFRIKAN ascent could scarcely find
reported on traditional media anywhere in the USA. His reports were accurate and from a perspective consistent with our people's
struggle for liberation and self-determination.
People from New Haven, St. Louis and other U.S. cities began calling in to DRUMBEAT RADIO-NET CAST even on SUNDAYS when THE MINISTER
GENERAL was not scheduled to host DRUMBEAT RADIO-NET CAST, just to express their deep appreciation for his work reaching, inspiring and bringing together people all
over America and the world, which he had been doing single-handedly, with hardly
any support from anyone since November of 1992 starting with his writing and distribution
of the pamphlet KNOWLEDGE.
The pamphlet KNOWLEDGE was
written by MINISTER GENERAL AHMAD, distributed on the streets of
BOSTON and mailed all over the USA at
his own expense each month for 8 YEARS, until the summer of 2000,
when expenses to conduct SOA's work, on line, especially puchasing and
leasing computer hardware and software, made it all but impossible to continue the written pamphlet.
KNOWLEDGE addressed issues from the youth violence and fratricide
that was plaguing BOSTON through the 80's and 90's ( until 1995 when it began to decline setting a national precedent ) to
other fronts in our struggle that all AFRIKAN-ascended youth and adults, no matter
what former colonial power enslaved their progenitors, should have a clear understanding of in order live and work in
UNITY and to be prepared for what we must do collectively in this day and time for our advancement
and survival.
KNOWLEDGE talked about issues such as how MIS-EDUCATION
for generations perpatuates our condition. Or what
SOA * SONS OF AFRIKA calls
THE FAKE DRUG WAR in ARTICLE SIX (6)
of its PROGRAM AND POSITION of 1971 and how it was
being used to criminalize an entire generation of our people for decades. One only has to look at the astronomical prison
population explosion of recent years in the USA to see the devastating effects of prolonged policies used toward
white supremist or racist ends. Ends that can never be justified because of the means. So-called LAW.
Sadly, even today, people on the streets of BOSTON still
ask for the written pamphlet KNOWLEDGE. Perhaps someday, with the help and support
of some from among our people, it will be back, making a contribution to the upliftment of our people and making us
all aware of aspects of issues many ordinarily may not have ever given much consideration to. THE MINISTER GENERAL WAS AND STILL IS A LONE VOICE ON EVENTS AND ISSUES IMPACTING
PEOPLE OF COLOR.
