What do Clara Barton, Harriet Tubman, Meryl Streep, Toni Morrison and Peace Pilgrim have in common?

 

All are remarkable women with their roots deep in the heart of the Great State of New Jersey, and all have been inducted into the New Jerssey Hall of Fame in its innaugural year, 2007.  Others inductees include Albert Einstein, Vince Lombardi, Buzz Aldrin, Bruce Springsteen and Frank Sinatra, to name a few. 

 

Surely, Peace Pilgrim, who gave her life to spreading a simple message that peace begins in the heart of everyman, should be recognized as one of New Jersey's finest.

 

We would like Peace Pilgrim to be in great company and have nominated her for the New Jersey Hall of Fame. Her nomination will considered every year until she is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
