PeacePilgrim100 Two-Mile Intergenerational Walk for Peace July 18, 2009

Peace Pilgrim walked more than 25,000 miles spreading her simple message of peace among nations, groups, individuals and the very important inner peace - because that's where peace begins.

125 walkers participated in the first Peace Pilgrim 100 held on July 18, 2008.  The route took them past several Egg Harbor City historical sites and to the childhood home of Peace Pilgrim, where Peace Pilgrim's sister Helene Young, 93, shared stories about their youth.

Below, a student from the Charles L. Spragg School shares her footprint for "Steps to Inner Peace."

people approach me and I have a chance to talk with them about peace."
