Clown1 (talking to the boys and girls) Boys and girls, we see in the Bible that Jesus used all kinds of people to be His disciples. Some of them were short some of them were tall. Some were big and some were small. Some collected taxes some were fishermen. Some were smart and some weren't so smart. And what was true then is true now. Jesus can use anyone that will let Him. Clown2 Can Jesus use people with baggy pants. (or some other characteristic) Clown3 Can Jesus use people with pink hair. (or some other characteristic) Clown4 Can Jesus use people with no hair. (or some other characteristic) Clown5 Can Jesus use short people. (or some other characteristic) Clown1 What do you think boys and girls? (Giver them time to answer) Clown2 has baggy pants and Clown3 has pink hair does that mean one can be a disciple and the other can't? (Giver them time to answer) Do you have to have hair or be tall to be disciple? See Jesus is interested in availablity more than ability. If Jesus wanted all college graduates, He would have picked them, but He didn't. He was interested in people who would be willing to work with Him to spred the Word of God to all people. It's the same way today. Are you willing to help Clown2? Clown2 I'm willing! Clown1 Are you willing to help Clown3? Clown3 I'm willing! Clown1 Are you willing to help Clown4? Clown4 I'm willing! Clown1 Are you willing to help Clown5? Clown5 I'm willing! Clown1 Are you willing boys and girls? (Giver them time to respond) Clown2 I think we have us a bunch of disciples here. Clown1 we sure do. Remember boys and girls, if you let Jesus use you, He will use you and supply you with every thing you need to do your specific task. See you latter. The Begging
Opening: Clown3 is siting in the corner with head in her hands. Clown1and Clown2 come in and look concerned about clown3.
Clown1- Why does Clown3 look so down and out?
Clown2 - Because the Kid's Church teacher wants her to quote the scripture this Sunday.
Clown1 That should make her happy. She is really good at that kind of stuff.
Clown2 I know that, you know that but she doesn't know that.
Clown1 Well then we've got to figure out a way to let her know.
Clown2 And I think I know just the way to do it. Come with me.
(Clown2 and Clown1 leave)
Clown3 ( head hung down looking sad ) I just don't think I can do it. The Kid's Church teacher wants me to quote the scripture in Kid's Church this Sunday. But I'm not that good at remembering scripture. And besides that, every one will laugh at me. She'll just have to get some one else to do it besides me.
(Clown1wearing a mast like the Lone Ranger and Clown2 with a feather in his hair come in like they are on a galloping horse)
Clown1 Whoa! Sliver, you old bucket of bolts!
Clown3 What are you two doing?
Clown1 Don't be discouraged, have no fear because Lone Stranger is here. Remember God's Word tells us in Philippians 4:13, that ah It say that ah . . . wait just one minute please. Hey Ponto Come here!
Clown2 (Steps up and answers) Yes kemo-sloppy
Clown1 What does Philippians 4:13 say again?
Clown2 "I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength."
Clown1 That's right Remember God's Word tells us in Philippians 4:13 that "you Can do everything through Christ who gives you strength." I know you will be great, I know you will be fine, aren't you glad that I got here just in the nick of time.
Clown2 Oh brother
(Clown1 leaves as we hear him say) Hi - Ho Sliver, away!
Clown3 Who was that masked clown?
Clown2 That was the Lo .ng Stranger. (Clown2Leaves)
Clown3 I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength. Maybe I can Quote the scripture this Sunday. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Boy, God's Word is full of encouragement. I know I can do it and I will do my best!
(Clown3 leaves) The Begging

Clown4 Boys and Girls today we are learning how we as Christians can build our faith and make us stronger so we can serve God to the fullest of ouor potental.
Clown5 (Rushes in wearing a carpender's aprin and carrying a hammer and a saw.) Did I hear someone say we are building something in Kid's Church today?
Clown4 Yes, we are going to talk about building our faith.
Clown5 Well that's great! If it can be built then I can build it or my name is'nt Mr. Fix-It!
Clown4 Well your name is'nt Mr. Fix-it, It's Clown5.
Clown5 Well today it's Mr. Fix-it! I have my tools and I'm ready to construct whatever needs constructing.
Clown4 I'm not talking about building a house. I'm talking about building up our faith in God.
Clown5 Show me were to start and I'll get to work. Do we have lumber? Do we have nails?
Clown4 We don't need lumber and nails. All we need is our ears and the Word of God.
Clown5 Well what can you build with that?
Clown4 That's what I'm Trying to tell you. We are going to build our Faith!
Clown5 What is Faith?
Clown4 The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Clown4 Were can we get some of this Faith!
Clown5 The Bible tell us in Romans 10:17 that, "faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God"
Clown4 I guess I won't need my carpendry tools then.
Clown5 Not to build your faith. All you need is ears to hear and listen to God's word the Bible. Let all liston as Clown3 teaches us today's scripture memory verse.
Clown3 (Teach these motions to the children as they quote Romans 10:17) Faith - Flex both arms showing your muscles. Comes - use you index finger to motion as if you want someone to come here. By hearing - Point to you ears. And by hearing - Piont to your heart The Word of God - Piont to your Bible. Quote the Verse and repeat the motions with the children several times. Then ask a few Children to do it alone. Finally do it as a group one last time.

Most balloon scuptures are made with 260 balloons. They can be purchased in most party and costume stores. To blow up a 260 balloon, you should first stretch the balloon. This will make it easier to inflate. Inflate the balloon to the length stated in the instructions; then, before tying the knot, release a small amount of air out of the balloon. Some people call this "burping the balloon." Most figures are created by starting at the knotted end of the balloon then working your way toward the other end. Ballooning instructions will take you step by step, telling you approximately how many inches down the balloon to make the next twist. The links above have instructions for making many zanny balloon creaters. Or your can ask for information from The King's Kids about instructional books containing easy to follow instruction to make your own creations. HINT: There are a few preparations you can take to help yourself out just incase your balloon pops. 1. Have a completed balloon sculpture in your bag just incase the balloon pops near completion of your teaching segment. 2. Have a balloon already blown up to the size needed, knotted, and stashed in your bag; if the sculpture pops near the beginning, you can continue with the new balloon. This also gives you an extra balloon to hand out to a well-behaved student at the end of class. 3. Or just use humor, for example; "I was mistaken, thati must be how you make a bomb" Balloons can also good as a behavior incentive. Let the children know that there is a special seat and the luky boy or girl in this seat will receive the balloon sculpture at the end of class for good behavior. Have a back-up seat chosen just incase they forfeit the sculpture due to bad behavior.
