This below is the 28mm 2.8 AIS at work. The mirror lights were
very bright and the lens was straight into them; nonetheless, there is little veiling flare and no point flare. On the
Nikon F.
The last image here was taken by the F, also. This is the 85mm 1.4
AIS at work. Its rendering of highlights is so typically and exquisitely Nikkor that I wanted to end the glamour section
with this example of its qualities.
One final thought. David Hemmings, the glamorous young
star of Blow-Up, died several years ago. Gather those rosebuds.
