Bob is from Wayland, NY. It
was Bob who got the original band together in 1984. He works at Wayland-Cohocton
Central School, where he teaches 9th
grade Earth Science. He also enjoys playing in pit orchestras for local school
and community musicals and providing special numbers for church services throughout the area.

Bill is from Geneseo, NY
and has been playing trombone with the band since the beginning. He teaches Science
at Livonia Central Schools. Bill can also be found playing in and conducting
various pit orchestras, and also plays for church services.

Jim Kittleson
3rd trombone

Jim, a native Minnesotan, joins us
from Corning,
NY. He started subbing for us shortly after he moved to the southern tier in
2003, and joined us as a regular in 2005. Jim works as a Psychologist at the VA in Bath,
NY. Coincidentally, Jim’s first time playing with us was at the VA! Jim
played in an Army band for three years and has participated in various community ensembles over the years. He also subs for
another local big band, the Hepcats, out of Elmira, NY, and
he plays regularly with the worship team and in pit orchestras for musical productions at his local church, Victory Highway Wesleyan Church in Painted Post, NY.

Doug Hawk is from Livonia, NY
and has been playing bass trombone with the band since the beginning. He teaches
Instrumental Music at the Livonia Intermediate School. Doug is Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 174,
sings in the choir and cantors at St. Matthew Church.
