Pats Peak had a wonderful old New England ski area feel with richly warn lodges and lots of wood paneling.  The ski runs were wide and rambling.  I even liked the old, slow chairlifts – the ambling pace allowed me more time to take in the beautifully wooded countryside.  We lost Mac for one run but found him a short while later at the bottom of the lift.  There is a demand for the slower paced, older mountains in New England and Pats Peak certainly fit the bill.
