| My good friend Richard with his X-country skis! |
What
fun it was for my dear friend Richard to join me at Nashoba with his cross-country skis.
Richard is a professional photographer (and my jogging partner) so the photos on this page are likely to 1) be taken with the best digital camera and 2) and get the best photo editing available – thanks
Richard. It was his idea to do the close up of my ski pass collection you will
see on another page – maybe the last page?
I
also made a new friend in Midge, a 79-year-old man who has worked at Nashoba for over 35 years. We did not find Midge just sitting somewhere pushing a pencil – we found him working with the pumps
at the tubing park – hefting the heavy pipes and other equipment with men less than half his age. My snowcap is off to you Midge for your dedication to making the mountain fun for those hundreds of kids
that swarm out to this Boston ski area (including my two boys who regularly came here for night skiing).
