Replace the manicured fairways and greens of a top level golf course with finely groomed slopes; take away the warm, sunny afternoon on the back nine and replace with the cold and moist weather of a Vermont mountain March, but in every other way – Bear Creek is a unique luxury ski country-club.

The fancy golf-club bars look just like Bear Creek’s shiny rich mahogany bar complete with fine crystal, comfortable stools and finely dressed bar tender; the private golf-club locker rooms with their tall wooden locker doors, wide benches, fine carpet and hand towels were the precise model for this ski club’s dressing rooms (see photo); the friendly, well dressed hostesses that greet you just inside the front door of this ski club have that same casual, polished air about them (with a touch of Vermont friendliness) and of course a well shoveled deck and tables were not dis-similar to the relaxed terrace atmosphere of the golf club terrace.

Bear Creek is a growing and unique enterprise and I wish you well.  I also thank you for your hospitality and a few great runs down your lovely slopes.
