Bretton Woods, number three for this
day, gets the best modern lodge awards – it had a rustic feel with large
beams, wood wainscoting and graceful lines. It was easy parking and real friendly
folks in the administrative office. Although a fairly large Mountain, it seemed to retain a small mountain feel - a
big plus to this skier.
There was a new quad half
way up the mountain, which rushed me to the top for a couple real nice runs. Surface was not crusty by this time in
the day. I met Jean and John after my runs, they were two of the longest serving employees - they waited for me to end
my runs and for that I am grateful. A big cup of water and cup of coffee and I am on my way back to Attitash some 25
minutes away.
