Introduction from the President September 15, 2003
A note; Hello everyone, my name is Arthur R, Wood Sr.. Like all of you I have a keen interest in genealogy. I have actively pursued my family tree. For myself, the pursuit is one of active knowledge of all aspects of this most interesting of hobbies. I have any number of interests in this area of genealogy, including the history of, conditions at the time ancestors lived, the health conditions, the side line stories of. What I consider the best, is "Helping People" with their active goals of obtaining Correct information on their Family Trees.
The one thing that is important in all this is correct information. One wrong entry in Family Genealogy throws whole generations off resulting in incorrect information that might be taken as truth and throw all other Family Genealogy information off.
My goal is simple, please use and verify all sources of information you have. To help obtain this I have an active Genealogy Help Line on a server called Pal Talk. We can communicate, both Audio and Video, with the whole world thou the Internet, with people who have such items as documented census, sources, address's for a lot of Country's. I also have active Data links stored on my computer with back up copies of all information that is kept up to date.
I only wish to help all of you in your interests in Family Tree Genealogy with correct information that you can verify on your own.

I have been requested to try to format a number of Web Pages so that we can put the Bristol County Chapter on the Internet.
It's the hope that it will attract others in this area to actively join and participate in the transfer of genealogy information that would benefit others. This is the first attempt at this for our Chapter. I have written and actively update a whole number of web pages for other organizations.
