Shiyanne's Favorite Things
As read by Joy at her memorial service

Shiyanne loved to bring Grammy her newest beanie babies when they came in the mail.  And to help us in the garden watering plants-whether they needed it or not!

She loved to stand in Daddy's hands while he would lift her up into the air.

Darian would carry her around, wrapped in a blanket while she would pretend to be a baby.

She would fly around the house on Sky's back being his personal Jetpack-she even provided the sound effects!

With Kyle she would spend most of her day, sharing stories and playing games. Whether it was dressing her teddy's or playing with his Bionicles, the two of them where inseperable.

She would be right on top of her brothers during tickle fights, the smallest one on the top of the heap.

And she was learning the fine art of shopping with me and Nana.  An important skill for any young girl!

All the nieces and nephews take turns sleeping over Auntie Brenda's house.

Shiyanne was soo happy that she was finally old enough to have her turn just this year.

She danced and walked on her tippy toes since she was a toddler, so she was thrilled when she started dance class with Maggie and Melanie. She even had plans to marry their brother Michael who was apparently in on the deal!

A true girly girl, she loved playing dress up with Olivia. At home she was always
Princess Shiyanne and she called me Queen Mama!

She liked to play dolls, house and have tea parties wiht her newst friend Cienna.

Quite the talker, she would engage any trusted adult in a number of conversations-typically about her!

A connoisseur of chocolate munchkins, she would have one most every day before school and I would remind her to clean the evidence off her teeth. She especially loved when they would come wrapped as a little present!

At school she loved playing 'scooter tag' and chasing 'Coach' in gym class.  She liked music, art and always looked for a friends hand to hold when going through the school.

And at the end of her school day she would run full throttle into my arms, nearly knocking me to the ground. Her hugs were the strongest-usually referred to as the 'sweetie-conda'.
