1.)    Who is Marriage Encounter for?  Marriage Encounter is for any couple who wants to enrich their marriage. The Weekend is designed to expand and deepen the joys a couple shares together, whether married for a short time or for many years.

 

2.)    Where is the Weekend held?   The Weekend is held at various hotels and retreat centers.  Check the home page for Weekend dates and locations.

 

3.)    How long does the Weekend Last?  The Weekend begins around 8:00 pm on Friday and ends at 4:00 pm on Sunday with Mass.

 

4.)    Do I have to be Catholic to attend the Weekend?  No.  This website is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Area Catholic Marriage Encounter community but couples of all faiths can benefit from the weekend.

 

5.)    How much does the weekend cost? 

     No one is ever refused the opportunity to make a weekend because of a lack of funds.  A $50.00 Non-Refundable Registration Fee confirms your food and lodging.  At the end of the weekend each couple is given a blank envelope and asked to make a donation.

 

6.)    Can Priest and Religious make the Weekend?  Marriage Encounter is for priest and religious who want to revitalize their relationship with the people of God and develop an even deeper appreciation for their own vocation.
