My friend, and faithful crew member, Linda Varnum has been in the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer for
some time now. These walks are held in different cities around the country. In 2009 she will be in the AVON Walk in Boston.

This year's effort will help her with donations for her 2010 walk. I've come
up with an idea for raising money that to help Linda's cause using my racing hobby.
Please join me with your pledges. You'll send your pledges to Linda at “Avon Walk for
Breast Cancer” 83 Agony Hill Road, Andover, NH 03216 at the end of the 2009 season this October/November. You
can pledge ANY TIME during the year.
My personal pledge:
$1.00 per lap *
$5.00 for a new personal lap record (road course)
$5.00 per race finished on lead lap **
$10.00 per top 3 finish ***
My pledging:
* ALL laps on track (road course & autocrosses), including
warm up, practice-qualifying, & race are included. Also included will be ALL autocross runs.
Road course warm up and practice-qualifying sessions are 5 - 15 laps.
Road course races are usually 10 - 20 laps
Autocrosses are usually 3 - 6 runs.
** Lead lap finishes apply for Road course and circle track
races
*** I usually trophy 1st or 2nd autocrossing but will include
any other events.
I will be at the same tracks as last year; Roebling Road (GA) in April, NJ Motorsports
Park in August and New Hampshire Motorsports Speedway in July and September. The Club Race season will end at Watkins
Glen (NY) with a 1 race event.
I want to get to an autocross or 2 as well as a couple of circle track races, but no definate plans
have been made.
Results, lap counts, and any other race event information will appear on this site as they become
available.

- bettering my 'best' lap time (for NHMS and Watkins Glen only)
- per 'crew member' that shows up to a race, per race (crew memeber = any person that comes to hang
with my group)
- be creative with your ideas. They might be used next year.
