Thanks to New England Region SCCA for providing
these passes
Info for using
the 2009 NER race passes.
Registration:
New Hampshire Motor Speedway:
Brown building
at main gate
Passes
can only be used during registration hours. Outside those hours you are subject to the track gate fee (last year it was $25).
Registration
hours are generally Fri 7 – 9 PM, Sat 7 –
9 AM, Sun 7 – 9 AM. Exact hours
for each event should be available on the web site www.ner.org
Once
registering, you will receive a wrist band. This band is good for the whole weekend (so if you register Fri, you can come
& go as you please for the whole weekend!). Don’t lose it! These bands will allow you anywhere around the infield
of the track except the ‘hot pits’ & track during racing.
NHIS
entrance- go through main gate, tunnel entrance will have a guard shack, pass through tunnel & enjoy.
Inside the track:
Camping
is allowed. If you are coming to an event I’m at, I stay Fri night through Sun afternoon. When you come out of the tunnel,
take 1st left at crest; follow till the road turns right. I will be in that area. There are 2 way camper hook-ups
(water & power) available for $10 (it might be $20, I forget) for the weekend. There is plenty of room for tents.
NO alcohol
can be consumed until ALL racing is completed for the day. Once the final checked flag of the day falls, alcohol can be consumed.
Saturday
night there is a ‘social’ party in the garage area. Come and mingle with the racers and workers.
Lime
Rock Park:
Do not
go to the Outfield gate. Registration is at the "Will Call" building by the Main Gate. Times should be listed on
www.ner.org or contact someone in Club Racing. I haven't raced at LRP since 2000.
The
most important rule is: HAVE FUN!!!
All ‘official rules and regulations’ (supplemental) for each event are available at each registration
or on-line at www.ner.org
Want
to get into the action but don’t have a racecar?
