Introduction to Music Class
This
class is designed for children ages 4 – 8 years old. We do music related
arts & crafts, explore 6 different instruments and how they work to make sound, a short piano lesson (in each class),
and we even make our own homemade instruments!
I use a magnetic staff board, flashcards, worksheets, musical dominoes to make learning music theory
fun and interesting to the kids. I also let them use the computer which has a wide variety of music theory software
for all levels to help reinforce the music theory.
This class is a great way to introduce your young child
to music and see if he/she is ready for instrumental lessons (of any kind).
By the end of the session
the kids have a new appreciation for music and a general understanding of basic musical concepts.

of 3 students, maximum of 6 students per 45-minute class; 8-week session

Pianoforte 30
Private piano
lessons lasting 30 minutes weekly. Lessons include instruction on notation, technique, performance, sight reading
and music theory. I also let students use the computer for music theory as I have many games, lessons and other activities
that teach or reinforce theory.

Pianoforte 45
Private piano
lessons lasting 45 minutes weekly, mostly for intermediate to advanced level students. Lessons have strong
emphasis in all areas of musicianship and building a solid repertoire. I also let students use the computer for music
theory as I have many games, lessons and other activities that teach or reinforce theory.
