The Watershed continually monitors waterways within its jurisdiction for levels of pollution and particulates. This monitoring
requires sophisticated equipment and a substantial amount of volunteer hours to perform.
Our core of members/volunteers donate their time to this purpose in order to preserve and protect the waterways within
our Watershed. Water, used in recreation such as fishing and boating, also sustains the community with potable (drinking)
sources. We can't leave this work to future generations. Much clean-up is necessary just to restore the water to acceptable
levels for human consumption and recreational purposes.
