Welcome to my site!

It all started a few short years ago with a 44 gallon pentagon tank that I had gotten as a bonus from my previous boss. There was a 60 gallon saltwater tank @ my job. Everyday I would pester the boss with a million questions, and when I had the opportunity I would just sit and stare at it. Sometimes even staying a little bit later just to look at it!

Well, I guess he was tired of listening to me and decided to shut me up once and for all. I recieved the above mentioned tank, with all the trimmings (Protein Skimmer, Wet-Dry.. and everything else needed to get started)

That 44 gallon started something that I never dreamed would have happened. About 6 months later I started a 20 gallon long reef tank to go along with my 44g Fish only tank. Needless to say, the 20 gallon turned into a 38 gallon reef tank. This was all in the condo I lived in @ the time.

The day came when it was time to buy a house. So, guess what? Bigger house.. Bigger tank!

I came across a great deal on E-Bay for a 120 gallon tank. I jumped on it and got it. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought I could have a tank this big, a tank I could actually sit in! This setup kept me pretty happy for a long time. (About 2 years..haha)

Then I came up with the bright idea of starting a remote filter room....

This is basically the diary of the build of my 225 gallon reef tank. Enjoy the ride!
