Appointment Time
Bark, Bath 'N Beyond will arrive as close as possible to the scheduled appointment time.  However, I will never jeopardize the safety or well-being of my clients' pets by hastening a groom.  Nor will I put myself in jeopardy by rushing to the next appointment.  I will call you to let you know I will be delayed.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

No show Policy
In the event I arrive for a scheduled, confirmed appointment and find no one there to release the pet to my care, an invoice for the actual “trip fee”’ w ill be assessed and left at your door

Returned Check Policy                                                                                                           Bark, Bath 'N Beyond will accept only cash for the first visit.  Subsequent visits may be paid with cash or personal check.  Returned checks will be subject to a $20.00 or 10% returned check fee, whichever amount is greater.

Pet Comfort                                                                                                                                       Bark Bath 'n Beyond understands some pets are extremely sensitive to certain grooming procedures such as trimming nails or cleaning ears.  It is not my intent to cause discomfort to your pet.  Although these are routine procedures normally performed for the well-being of the pet, I will not continue with any grooming procedure that will cause pain or discomfort to the pet.  Sometimes, for the overly sensitive pet, these procedures are best left to the care of a veterinarian.

Stripping/De-Matting Policy
I will NOT de-mat a pet that has extreme matting.  Excessive de-matting is a painful, time-consuming, and costly procedure that causes extreme discomfort and can aggravate (or cause) skin problems.  This is a total contradiction to the stress-free philosophy of mobile grooming.  Sometimes the pet is so badly matted that the hair must be completely clipped off, allowing new, healthy hair to grow.  Excessive matting can be avoided with regular brushing and grooming, and I will be happy to show you some brushing techniques for mat prevention

Veterinary Care                                                                                                                                                            We make every effort to ensure your pet's grooming experience is pleasant and safe; however, if your pet becomes ill or is hurt and you are not available, you hereby give us permission to obtain treatment if you are not available to consent, and you further agree to pay any and all veterinary expenses.

Safety                                                                                                                                                         Your pet’s safety and comfort is my primary concern.  Please advise me of any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing medical conditions so I can avoid aggravating these situations.  Please let me know of any prior grooming history you or your pet may not have found totally satisfactory.  I want to avoid the repetition of poor or unpleasant experiences or situations. Although most pets are very well behaved, not all are “perfect angels.”  I understand this and welcome meeting these different personalities as part of my job.  However, for the benefit of all involved, I will not provide services for vicious or aggressive attitudes and I reserve the right to refuse service to these pets. Safety for pets as well as humans comes first in the grooming process.  You must inform us before the first grooming if your dog has bitten anyone or has agressive tendencies.  You will be liable for any bites or damage caused by your pet. The grooming process will be stopped if we feel your pet is compromising the safety of the groomer and prorated charges will apply.

Mat Removal                                                                                                                                            If a coat is heavily matted and a shave down is required, a shave down release will be required.  The aftermath of a shave down can cause itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions. Shaved down pets are also prone to sunburn and should be kept out of the sun until after the hair begins to grown back sufficiently to protect the skin.  As the owners, you are responsible for the condition of the coat and will not hold Bark, Bath 'n Beyond responsible in the event of adverse effect of mat removal
