I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Barbara and I traveled to Gainesville, Virginia to see Jim Wright and his wife Gladys for our turkey dinner. Jim is an long time friend who I met in my Washington Gas days in the 70's.  Twelve days before turkey day, Barbara and I photographed a wedding reception of two retired IRS employees Mike Hall and Jerry Krum. I put together a musical slide show of this wedding reception in Ellicott City, Maryland at the Turf Valley Resort.

Sit back and enjoy it with some of those left over turkey sandwiches!

On November 8, the Honorable Steny Hoyer, Congressman Maryland's Fifth Congressional District gave a speech at a NTEU union meeting at the IRS Main Headquarters building at 1111 Constitution Ave, N.W. Washington D.C. His pro federal worker positions are well know, and he was well received at the IRS.  See my photoshow on his visit by clicking on the link above!

On October 29, we held our annual Halloween party at our Rockville, MD home. About 40 people attended the party ( kids too!) which lasted from 5:00pm to nearly midnight. The party ahd great food..chicken, deli, desserts galore...but it still was pretty scary for some of the kids especially when they saw are decorations ( not counting the Bush mask!) and HO train set. The party was even scarier when you realize all the IRS employees and former employees there.  But a great time was had by all.
