“Hail to the Deadskins”
Hail to the Deadskins,
No victory.
We can’t score touchdowns,
We just take the three!
Run or pass and score, we need a lot more,
Portis doesn’t practice ‘cause his foot’s sore.
Gripe on, gripe on ‘til Vin-ny’s gone
Shame in Wash-ing-ton
Boo, Boo, Boo!
Hail to the Deadskins,
No victory.
Let’s grab Dan Snyder
Hang him from a tree!

Winding down our trip
It has been a fabulous week here in San Diego...we have paced ourselves and we are not as exhausted as last year in New
York City, or the first few days recovering from jet lag. We have taken about 1000 photos so far and have met lots of nice
people. But putting together our photoshow will be a challenge!

In San Diego
What a nice place to visit! The weather here is beautiful....we already visited the zoo, and we heard some worker complain
when the temperature went to 80 degrees...( and little humidity) Anyway, it is a little hard to adjust to the three hour time
delay...but then comparing this to working at the IRS and USDA, well ...we will somehow manage. See our first photo above!

WV ANG Retirement Dinner
Barbara and I took over 150 photos at our annual Martinsburg ANG retirees dinner at Martinsburg on August 11. They had
a really funny humor act to entertain the retirees with four WV "hick" performers telling and singing knee slapping jokes.
We also had another tour of the renovated (ongoing) base with a huge C-5 parked near the hangar, hosted by Colonel Billy Burkhart,
CE. Soon to retire, Col Gain also gave a nice slide show on the base renovations and Space A travel. And the dinner
was just delicious. Click on the link above to see the photoshow! Special humor section at end too!

Off to Martinsburg
It's time for my annual trek to Martinsburg to see my fellow Air Guard retirees at our annual dinner on August 11. Hopefully
I will get some more photos and do another show before I leave for San Diego in late August. Also take a look at my recent
New Orleans photoshow if you are a military vet. I got some new photos of the D-Day museum including live swing dancers below
a "flying" C-47.

New Orleans 2007
I just finished a week of "fun filled" classroom work in New Orleans. However, I did come a day early to see the D-Day
Museum and take another Swamp Tour with the alligators. The Canal Street photos were taken on the 41st Floor of
the Marriott New Orleans, the hotel that I stayed at from July 29-August 3. The last dozen pictures are my typical faceonbody
humor. So enjoy!!
