I drove up to Baltimore the night before the USO-Appreciation Luncheon ( see link) and photographed William McIlmail's retirement party at the Town and Country Caterer's dining facility. I don't usually photograph two events in a row but Mac was special. See retirement dinner by clicking on link above.

On Friday, I attended and photographed a retirement party for William McIlmail and then the next day, Barbara and I participated in the 2009 Annual Vounteer Appreciation Luncheon at Fort Myer Community Center. Our Wheaton Library site finished its last big public help session on April 9 serving over 25 taxpayers. We also got visited by IRS VITA reviewers to check on our procedures.  I am sure we passed, but there are some things we need to improve for next year. We helped over 250 taxpayers this year and e-filed over 215 returns.  Since I was being quizzed and working on returns, I had time to take only one photo of our site in action that day...see above.
