From the Jungle Room Pre-K.... November 3, 2009 We are reading books written by Eric Carle.   We are using  Will You be my Friend? to talk about being a good friend at school.  We will also be talking about classroom rules and respect to coordinate with our field trip.  Someone donated a book to our school titled Bad Kitty.   This is quickly become a favorite of the students.  They love it. We will be talking about the life cycle of an apple, tasting apples and making applesauce over the next few classes.   We will be playing the Apple & the worm game on the flannel board.  We are still working on numbers 1-12 and will be putting apples in 1-2-3 order.  Thanks for bringing in our letter of the week snack, the children are really enjoying eating their way through the alphabet!!
