Myths or untruths about the Lost/Unsaved/Unchurched.
- They are turned off by denominational Labels or Names.
- You can not get too "deep" doctrinally with them. You must keep it simple. Just say "Jesus" and feed them baby food will
suffice.
- The lost are only concerned about themselves.
- The Pastor must be dynamic, entertaining, story tellers, charismatic and topical preachers for the church to reach them.
- They can not be reached by direct personal evangelism.
- They never attend church.
- The church must offer less vertical doctronal Lordship Worship and more horizonal fellowship unity style worship.
- Small group Sunday School are ineffective at reaching them.
- Most of the Lost think and act like Anglo, middle class suburbanites with no church background.
- Music calls the lost.
