How to Pray For the President and Government Leaders

  • Pray for the president, vice-president, and other top officials to receive their wisdom from God (see Ps. 111:10; Jer. 33:3; Col. 1:9; James 1:5).
  • Pray for personal safety for our president and other government leaders (see Prov. 18:10; Isa. 12:2; 2 Thess. 3:3).
  • Pray for the name of Jesus to be glorified in the president and other leaders (see Ps. 11:7; John 14:6; 2 Thess. 1:12).
  • Pray for effectiveness in office and justice to those who practice evil (see Luke 18:8; Rom. 13:4; Heb. 13:18).
